I'm getting a tE error. I suppost this is a thermistor failure. Can you provide me with the part number?
Answer Hello Faith,
As per the service manual, the tE fault code indicates that The Inlet Water Temperature is very high, (over 194°F), there is a wiring connection issue, or The Thermistor 5301DD1001G has failed. As a note, this thermistor is not available without the heater assembly.
Will this part produce an IE code if bad?
Answer Hi Don. Inlet water error 1E . Not reached to the normal water level in spite of 10 min. water supply .The Water Supply Tap is closed. The Water Supply is shut off. The Inlet Hose is kinked. The Water Pressure is very low. (below 10 psi) Inlet Valve is OK? The filter of Inlet Valve is clogged by impure water. The Hall sensor is OK? The Impeller of Air Guide is bound.
Take action on Water Supply device. Measure the electric resistance of Inlet Valve. (950-1300 ) Clean the filter of Inlet Valve. Check the frequency of Inlet Water by the Test Mode. Replace the Air Braker. So yes, the wires to all devices need to be clean and tight. The senser will cause this along with others. Part # 6501DD2001A. Thank You.
