The washer shows a LE code after trying to wash a king size bed cover that was extremely heavy when it got wet . I unpluged the machine and let it cool down. it will try to run through part of a cycle but then stops again showing the LE code. Any suggestions of checks or tests that I should run before I replace the stator and hall switch? Any other parts that I should replace ? The bearings for the tub are fairly new and feel good .

Basket tries to turn but I get a high pitch squeaking noise coming from back of washer. Does that sound like a bad stator? Thanks

Latest Questions

I have replaced the hall sensor on my washer and it still gives me the LE code after a few loads have run. I have to unplug it, drain it as much as possible and wait up to a day to start washing again. I have read the manual, and it looks like it could be a bad connection between motor harness and the stator assembly, the motor harness and the main pwb assembly, or the motor harness is cut. Thing is, the manual does not tell me what the motor harness is. How do I figure out which is the culprit? I am trying to save some $$ as I am unemployed at the moment and I have a feeling it would cost a few hundred to hire a repairman. Could you help? Thanks in advance!
