Is there a way to adjust this pressure switch to increase the water level in the wash cycle?
Answer Hello Arturo,
In order to adjust a pressure switch, you would need a special calibration device designed specifically for this. It is much more feasible to replace the pressure switch. If you have to adjust the pressure switch, you run too high a risk of flooding the home and causing much more water damage than the pressure switch would have cost to begin with.
My washer will not cycle between wash to and rinse or rinse to spin. It will work on all the cycles but I have to manual switch it.
Answer Hello Margaret. It sounds like the main board 6871ER1023B is bad. This part has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part.
I have an LG washer that continues to fill with water and doesn't drain. The water fills above door until pressure forces bottom out and water leaks. I have replaced drain pump motor, but problem persists. No error code appears
Answer Hello Chris. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit.
