I have replaced the pressure assembly switch and it still will not fill up with the right amount of water no matter what setting i put it on so can u tell me what else controls the amount of water that goes in the tub.
You will want to check the pressure switch hose to make sure that it is not clogged. Also check the water valve screens to ensure that the screen is not clogged which would also cause a filling issue. Access the tech sheet that comes with the unit and check to see if there are any stored error codes.
How long is the resistance between the pins on the Pressure Switch?
Answer Hello Mdonoso. The manufacturer does not release that information. It should read closed on contacts when empty and change contacts when full with water. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
What is this sensor commonly known for, what is its function?
Answer Hello Becky. 6601ER1006A is the pressure switch and is used to determine the level of the water in the unit.
