Dryer won't dry on Sensor dry. It takes a long time to dry in timed dry. The cooling light is on continuously. I can hear the burner light but I believe the control panel is bad. Thanks
Answer Hello Mike,
Test the sensor dry by removing the duct from the back of the unit and let it run for 5 to 10 minutes. Make sure there is heat coming out of the rear of the unit and after the allotted time, look at the timer to make sure it has advanced. If it has not, either the timer has failed or the unit has a bad centrifugal switch on the motor. If it has advanced, the issue is in the exhaust duct, (crimped or clogged).
