My freezer isn't keeping as cool as it should be, and I am convinced that I need to replace the start relay and the overload protect. But the part numbers that are listed in the current part list for my model do not match what is in my fridge. The start relay has a sticker on it, which identifies it as EECON JLLE TSD2. I think the replacement part is part number EBG44336202, but nobody is selling that part anymore. Is there a new replacement part number? Thanks in advance.

My fridge quit cooling. I think it has either a bad resistor or the compressor went out. The compressor is almost to hot to hold my hand on. The fan is working and I cleaned off the condensor. I hear a click from the resistor on the compressor, then it clicks off in about 10 seconds. This repeats every couple minutes. Do I need to replace the overload protector (309A), or the thermistor (309B, which is unavailable)? Is there any way for me to test it? Or is my compressor shot, where I am looking at an expensive repair, and I should just go buy a new fridge tonight?
