Had issue with noise in washer, ignored until it got real bad, ordered bearings and seals. watched repair video showing exact model and realized spider and outer tub needed replacement. recieved spider and tub. Tub has extra hole in center of were balance weight goes. it appears it is a drain possibly from the other questions. I have seen answers that say I need new counter weight and other parts. Exactly which parts do I need? Were does this hose connect? if its a drain were does it drain to? I have the door gasket with an upper hose connection, not sure that matters. Also on the outer tube, the new one does not have the hole for the temperature sensor. Am i suppose to drill it open to the 1/2" hole? thanks for your help

I need to replace the tub cover on my Tromm wm2277hw. Since my washer is over 3 years old or more, has the replacement part (AP5672156) added any changes that may not fit my washer properly I should be aware of. Looking at other question/answers, it seems like the replacement part has an added drain hole or opening for a hose. Is this correct? If so, what extra parts will I need to make this replacement part work. Thanks!

I needed to replace front tub cover (and spider) and ordered part # AP5672156. Almost everything is back together. I had a lot of fun doing this. When slipping the balance weights over the 4, 2 inchish screw holders, it doesn't just slip on. it appears that the new tub cover's screw holders' spacing is ever so slightly different. What do you recommend I do? Thanks so much. I am so eager and excited to see how my repairs perform. First time I've ever done something like this and the guy on one of your videos said this was not for the faint of heart!!!

I recently bought a tub cover for my LG Washer one that had been worn out. the new one has an extra hole that could possibly be for a hose, i don't have a need for this as it wasn't on the one i am replacing. is there a fix for this?
