While away on vacation our ice maker started leaking out the back and damaged some hardwood. The unit was still making ice, but would leak an amount of water every time that the unit asked for additional water. This seems like an issue with the supply valve not shutting off. If so, can this be replaced individually? Thanks

My icemaker line was leaking in the back. I purchased a new line but cannot seem to get it to seal in the old water valve at the lower or the inlet at the top. Do I need to order a new water valve and inlet to be able to seal this hose up? thanks Jay

Latest Questions

The bottom of our freezer filled with ice and froze. The leak seems to be coming from the back of the freezer, back from behind what looks like the fake back wall, not overflowing from the ice maker itself. You can see the frozen trail of water. I'm not sure if we should be replacing the ice maker, the valve, or something else. My husband says that the tube outside in the back does not seem to be frozen - what else should we be checking before pulling it all apart for the wrong part? Any help is appreciated so we know to order the right parts. Thank you.

Water to the ice maker keeps trickling out of feedline and over flowing the ice maker and fills ice pan. Water does not stop running so I turned it off. Does this sound like a control valve?

The OEM valve does not have a blue plastic electrical connector like the valve you sent me. The red and blue wires are seperate leads with flat Stacon connectors. Unfortunately the AppliancePartsPros website does not show the electrical leads in any of the 5 photos for this part. 1. Is there a conversion kit for the refrigeration side of the electrical connection? 2. If I cut the leads on the valce I bought and it does not work can I return it for a full refund? Please advise, thanks.
