There was not a change in the way that the water filter operates but there may be a design change in the way it is made but we would not have this information.
My fridge is working fine but on the water/ice dispenser there was an err ff code and the temp was rising so I had no ice. I disconect the plug and reconnected automatic turn on again for some hours . Could be the filter problem?

The Er FF code that you saw on your dispenser represents an error with you evaporator fan motor in the freezer. It is an indication that the control board was not sensing a rpm signal from the fan motor. We will need your model number to help you with this. When I plug up the refrigerator it trips the GFI. What could it be?

Answer Hi. Use a appliance cord part and try another house outlet that is not on the same GFI circuit breaker. If it works now the get an electrician to change the outlet. GFI outlets trip at less then 1/10,000 amp draw for water safety or a direct short. Your unit needs full amperage to start the unit and keep it running normally. Thank you.
