This water valve has six spade connectors. Two sets of two on one end and one set of two on the other. I have replaced the valve, but may have crossed some wires.
Can you tell me which color wired goes to each connector?
For the wiring of the water valve, when looking at the valve from the part where the water supply connects to, the single solenoid will have a pink and blue wire connected to it. It will not matter which wire goes on which terminal. The water dispenser solenoid which is part of the dual valve and sits on the right side will have brown and white wires connected to it and the red and blue will go to the valve for the icemaker.
I replaced part #5221JA2006D water inlet valve. How do I get water back into the line? It seems like it is taking forever to pump it back through the line to the dispenser/ice tray. I am pretty sure I put all lines back into the tube connectors correctly.I do hear a buzzing sound like it is trying. Thanks
The only way to get water through the lines is to make sure that the water is turned on and all the tubing is connected to the correct spot. The single valve will go to the filter housing. The other filter tube will go to the gray port on the 3 port valve. The 1/4" tubing to the icemaker will go to the orange port and the other tubing will go to the white on the 3 port valve. This one would go to the water tank.
