Answer Hi Margie. Remove the belt and see if the drum now freely turns. If it does not, look at the pulley and see where it may be binding. Is the pulley wearing into the back of the tub as the outer tub bearing may be worn out. Is the inner drum rubbing on the door boot ? If so then has it been making a growling noise ? Do you see any water leaking out the back of the tub? Momentarily start the machine in a small wash just to see if the door locks and the motor receives the start tumbling command. Did you align the belt in the center of the large pulley after installation and rotate it a few times to insure it rides on the motor pulley ribs without misaligning the belt ? Answer Hello Bob. You will need to remove the outer cover and test the fuse 8183507 to see if it is bad. It should read closed for continuity. Hope this helps.
