My Magic Chef Refrig stopped cooling. The compressor was very hot. I suspect a starter capaciter. Can you tell me how to trouble short to confirm my suspessions. I cannot find this part number listed to match mine. What part number do I need? The compressor is a LG NSA30LACG

Frig is not cooling. comp. ohms fine and not shorted to ground. when comp, trys to start it pulls 10+ amps before overload trips. capacitor cks, good.Is comp. Locked up or just ptc bad?
