My Repair & Advice
Initially I reset the Hi Limit T-Stat, but it kept tripping. Normally when a hi limit trips, it's due to a restriction in air flow. My dryer vents through the roof of a single story home. I used a drain snake with a rag tied to the end and cleaned the venting. I reset the t-stat once again and again it tripped. Since I was going to take the drum out to replace the Hi Limit, I also replaced the cycling and air flow t-stats. The thermistor tested ok. Cleaned lint from dryer, and impeller, and around motor. Put together and tested temperatures. All okay. Used a #2 Phillips and a #2 phillips stubby.
