My Repair & Advice
Previous owner had a short which also affected the terminal block. Instead of capping the two black wires together, they instead ran the bare black to the eye connector and taped together. Poor connection. Subsequently shorted again, cooking the tape to to wires/connector.
Found AppliancePartsPros, as I had ordered previously (simple repair saving me big $$). They had the best price points, correct and quality parts, to include step by step video instructions. I already knew what I needed to do (giving it three stars below for difficulty due to dealing with the electricity) , but I used their video as a teaching tool to spark my nephew's interest/participation. He was apprehensive, but soon was telling me what I needed to do next. Thanks AppliancePartsPros. Will definitely order again if the need arises. I hope not, but if I do....
