My Repair & Advice
With the arrival of the handle as promised...actually a few days earlier, I dissasembled the inner panel with a kitchen knife..gently snapping it out of place. I removed the six screws holding the metal door frame to the metal frame, and then gently removed the sliding latch and coil spring. I could not access the lower screw for the handle, and the instructions were not very good as to how to access it.
I noticed the front glass and entire facia had multiple tabs holding it onto the metal frame, and I carefully ,over each tab off of the metal frame until the whole front came off. The lower screw was now visible enabling the replacement of the handle. I think better instructions need to be written, and a better video showing this step should be added to the site.
I'm extra pleased that I was able to complete this repair without the proper detail, but I'm sure someone will add the additional instructions to make this a more manageable repair.
