Shattered glass on the oven door

My Repair & Advice
I was attempting to tighten the handle on my oven door which required removing the outer door panel. As I was very carefully setting the door down on my tile floor, one side slipped from my hand and the corner dropped literally only about a half-inch onto the floor and the glass shattered. My immediate thought was how much it was going to cost to replace my whole stove, but I was able to find the part in stock from AppliancePartsPro.com for a better price than anywhere else. It was shipped out the next business day and arrived when they said it would. Meanwhile, I watched the video on AppliancePartsPro.com's website and followed the directions for removing the oven door and the few screws that were required. Once I received the new part, it was simply a point of putting it into place and screwing everything back together. The only challenge was aligning a couple of brackets, but that only took a couple of tries. I have ordered parts from AppliancePartsPro.com before and am so impressed with how they get the right part to you in such a short amount of time. Being able to do it myself (this time with padding under the door) saved me a lot of money over having a repairman do it for me.
