Part Number TJ712-017 (AP5637511) replaces 712-017.

Answer Hi Dwane. It will be in your best interest to look for the exact model and serial #. This way we can get the correct part# to you. The thermal coupler has a capillary bulb which sits in a standing flame. This way the internal sensor can send the correct millivolt information to the safety valve to operate the mechanical gas valve solenoid. This will then open and you will have a safe regulated gas flow. But you will need the correct model # for the part . What was mentioned was part # TJ712-017. Thank You.
