I need a spanner wrench for whirlpool/kenmore.

Answer Hello! The spanner wrench 35-2968 is used for removing the spin hub on washers produced after 11/91, except Maytag. If you can provide your direct model number we can verify this will work on your appliance. Thanks!

Answer Tracey, Yes, the spanner wrench TJ90TB123A is used to remove the transmission Hub Nut WH2X1193, on GE top load washers. Unfortunately, APP does not "post" outside the USA and it territories, at this time.
Hi. My washing machine works on all cycles but sounds like a thrashing machine. Like the wheel bearings are fixing to come apart. I'm in the process of taking it apart and I can not get the agitator (air bell) coupling to come off. Three of the four dampening straps are broke also, but I really don't think this is the sole cause of the noise. Are there roller bearings of any kind in this machine? Thanks so much for any advice!! Answer AMC, There are no roller bearings that you can access or replace. You will want to check the clutch WH5X256 and belt on the motor, they can get pretty noisy, when they wear out. and you'll want to check the upper frame "Apron" WH46X10270 it may be bent or damaged and causing a noise as well. The tub straps will need to be replaced WH49X10024. Quite often the coupler WH49X10042 will seize to the agitator shaft and will need to be cut off or chiseled off. Any other noises from the washer would be associated with the transmission WH38X10002 and it would need to be replaced, along with other associated parts.
