Answer You can remove the screws around the inner door panel, to access the detergent door assembly, and release the door.

Answer J, if the detergent lid 166621 is the only part that is missing on your product this is the only part that would need to be replaced. Thanks.

Answer Hi. Remove the outer door panel and the clock control cover. Use a volt/ohm meter part # TJMA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. Find the 2- yellow wires in the center in between the Gry/Bk and the Wht. Measure the resistance of the dispenser actuator motor value of 2150 ohms. (+ or - 10%). If you do not have the value then trace the wires from the control panel to the dispenser for opens, shorts, or bad connectors. If it has the measurement then you need to see if you have the 120 vac going to the wax motor during the dispensed cycle time. Make sure the wiring connections are clean and tight. Use a pick tool to help release the inner connector tabs. Make sure there are no rack blockages so the dispenser. Door does not open properly. Thank you.

Answer Hi Kathy. You need to replace the complete dispenser assy. part # 431413. It has a circuit board along with it that may be burnt out and giving you the issue. It is a contained unit and needs the whole assy. replaced. You will need the gasket assy. part # 166637. also. Thank You.

Answer Hi SuzieQ. The new detergent lid AP2802328 snaps into the dispenser assembly. Be careful when doing this not to break the tabs on the new lid. Thank You.

Answer Hi Lizz. The detergent lid has a finger- type lock holder that seems to have broken on yours. Part # is 166621. Thank you.

Answer Hello Calley, the only lid we show being sold separate is for the rinse aid dispenser 182136, the detergent lid is sold complete with the detergent dispenser part number 431413. Hope this helps!
