My Bosch dishwasher doesn't drain every time. I removed the motor and it runs fast on a bench but vibrates a bit, and make a small amount of noise. It appears to have water or oil inside the clear plastic motor housing. Is this motor oil filled or is that likely the problem with a leaky shaft seal? Thank you!

Bosch dishwasher wont drain. Can't find any obstruction and wife said she smelled something burning during last cycle. She also said that she heard the dishwasher beep to signal that it had finished the cycle. However, the dishwasher continued to run. Sounds like the drain pump? Your guidance is greatly appreciated.

The water was remaining on the bottom. I changed the pump and clean the filter very well. I found some glass obstructing the pump. I closed the door and power up. With absolutely no water in the machine, I hear the pump running continuously and the the machine is stuck in one cycle, not advancing. Is any reset option? Or what else?

When dishwasher draining, I hear a strange loud noise. All water does drain from dishwasher. Is the drain pump going bad? If so please supply the part #. Will I need to purchase a wiring adapter to install this pump?

I am pretty sure that Saturday night we fried to drain pump in the dishwasher. I smelled a strange smell not like an overheated electric motor, etc., but more like a hot plastic and water in the bottom. I suspect a second (I found the first) piece of broken glass got past the larger metal piece that was not properly tied down and jammed the impeller. I would love to buy a new pump from you but I would first like to verify how to get the pump out. It appears to be behind a plastic piece that is itself behind the kick plate. Thanks very much.

The drain pump only runs for a few seconds at the end of each cycle. Leaves water in DW 3/4" high (from pan, not sump). The circulating pump continues to run during what should be the drain part of the cycle. At end of all cycles, dishes are kind of clean, and DW is still full of clean water. drain pump runs strong when it is running, it just quits before the job is done. Drain pump is capable of longer operation. When I do a clear cycle, it runs at the end until the sump is empty. I have cleaned out the drain, removed and cleaned the check valve. I am leaning towards the control module, but would like some confirmation. Thanks.

I have a bad drain pump and according to your web site I will need pn 642239. My question is: My pump works but makes a very loud grinding sound. I think it has a bad impeller bearing. Can I purchase just the impeller/core/bearing assembly because I think my coil assembly is still good. The impeller assembly look to be very easy to replace and just snaps in.

Dishwasher is leaving bottom full of clear water after it runs the wash cycle. Used your chat line an they suggested I change the control module behind the control panel part number AP2802870. Ordered that from you an changed it. Dishwasher still left clear water in bottom after wash cycle. Used chat line again an they suggested I change the door latch with new switch part number AP5657279. Changed that an still left clear water in bottom of dishwarsher after cycle. Used chat line again an they suggested I change control module behind control panel with control module part number AP3858379. Why two different part numbers for same control module? An was I given wrong number for control module? This last chat line talk they also suggested I change the pump motor part number AP399662 an use adapter part number AP5323611. Along with the new number for control module, part number AP3858379. Any idea what is wrong with dishwasher? The parts already changed, plus parts suggested I change will add up to just about what a new dishwasher will cost.

Hi I have just installed the drain pump, it snapped in very well. I put the door cover back on. Snapped in place. So now we start the washer on the quick cycle to test it, and behold the kitchen is flooded within 2 mins. What to do now????
