My dishwasher comes on, the timer works, puts water in the bottom and does nothing else. Timer counts down. I can manually drain water. My repairman says the motor needs replacing and to just buy a new one. Wouldn't it be cheaper to just replace the motor when everything else works. Machine is 7 years old.

I have replaced the water inlet and put a kit in the recir pump I am getting a fill followed by a drain (slightly) then a fill and so on. The water is hot but will not start the spraying process. Is there a method to check the motor. Or?

My dishwasher was not circulating water under pressure, so I removed the circulating pump, since this is the common cause. When I took the plastic cover off the motor, the impeller (green) was separated from the plastic disc which is attached to the motor. I reassembled the parts, and the impeller does not stay engaged. So, I do not think it is the motor, but the impeller. Can this be repaired? Thanks

My dishwasher will drain and the timer counts down but the washer does not fill or pump any water. I was told that I need a new motor circulating pump. If this is correct the replacement you show does not have a jumper between the two middle lugs. I assume it has some electronics in the plastic case. Do I just use the old jumper? Thanks

The dishwasher ends its complete wash and has a fair amount of water in the bottom. The pump pushes water out, I can see and hear it in the air trap. I will remove the drain hose and check for an obrstuction. If none found my guess is a pump that does not move enough volume.

It's making a whirring noise that seems to be coming from the bottom right of the machine. It doesn't make the noise when it is draining so I don't think it is the pump making the noise. It also doesn't look like the arms are moving. Not sure. There is water coming from them when I open the door but they appear to remain in the same position. Thoughts?

I filled it with water and it still didn't push water through the arms. Why would pump just stop pumping? The motor works fine I tested it.
