Can the dishwasher be run without the upper rack and without the tall item sprayhead installed? If not, which part do I need to purchase in the tall item spray? Thank you.
Answer Hello Eileen,
Running the dishwasher with the upper rack removed and the spray head attachment not installed is almost guaranteed to put water in the floor. You will need to put the spray head 00167301 in for the tall item wash.
I do not see the tall item spray head installed inside my dishwasher. Is this something that should have come installed?
Answer Sarafine, the tall item spray head 00167301 is an accessory that can be purchased for your model. This part is used to wash larger items such as oven racks, fridge shelves, large roasting pans and large baking trays. You will remove the top rack and the upper spray arm and install this head in its location. Hope this information helps you, thanks!
I have the sprayhead that came out and you told Steve it attaches to the feed tube. Is there a diagram or detailed description of how to locate that feed tube?
Answer Hello Barbara. The feed tube is the part inside the dishwasher that brings the water from the bottom of the unit to the top of the unit. We will need your model number to help you with this. Please post your model number with a new question on the parts page. Thank you. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx
How do you attach the Tall Item Spray Head?
Answer Hi Nancy. It is a twist and lock method. You insert it from the bottom and when fully in place, twist 180° and it will lock in place. Thank You.
