There is a lot of lint behind the asmy drum can I remove screws fig 18 to clean. it's not getting hot so I want to try clear the lint before buying parts or replacing it.
To remove the drum, Once you have the front panel off you will lift the drum bearing out of the holder. It is better not to remove the screws in the back of the drum but lift the bearing out along with the drum.
Can you tell me what the cubic ft. of this dryer is?
Answer Hello Albowen. Sorry, you will need to contact the manufacture for that information.
My dryer drum is off and it rips up all my clothes. Do I have to replace the whole drum?
Answer Hello China. No, you will need to replace the front seal 134440200 and the rear bearing 5303281153 for the unit. If the drum is damaged and has holes in it, then you will need to replace it as well.
Dryer drum does not spin. Upper and lower felt has come loose and could not be repaired. So drum now is off center. Will that cause it to not turn? I see no belts and not sure what else could be the issue. Please advise. Thanks.
Answer Hello Nathan, there is a maintenance kit 5304457724 that contains everything you should need to get the dryer going again. There is a belt on the machine you just need to disassemble the unit to see it is likely broke. The kit includes the rear drum bearing kit 5303281153, the upper felt seal 5303937182, the lower felt [AP3220737, the belt 134503600 and instruction sheet 5304457725. Hope this helps!
