The ice maker doesn't dispense. It makes ice just fine. When you hit the arm, the yoke engages and opens the flap in the door, but there is a low hum and the auger doesn't turn so the "screw arm" inside the ice bucket doesn't rotate and push ice forward. I suspect it's the auger motor. Is there a way I can test to be sure before ordering a replacement? Is there anything else I should check? Thx!

Water comes out of spout very slowly, ice doesn't form in solid cubes. I can hear valve running. Maybe it's just not strong enough?

My ice dispenser was only dispensing crushed ice. I replaced the cubed crushed ice solenoid part # AP3965453. Now I can hear the solenoid going up and down when I have it set on cubed ice. The problem after I replaced it is that the auger will not rotate so now I do not have cubed or crushed ice. I checked the rotation of the auger motor; it's fine. Since the auger was rotating and crushing ice before I changed the cubed/crushed solenoid I would assume that the auger motor is fine. I see the dispenser door flap open when I depress the switch and the cubed ice button on the door. Any ideas?

1) My ice maker will only dispense crushed ice. It has done this before but now will not switch back. 2) When I shut off the ice maker arm it contiues to make ice. I recently replaced the water valve to fix a leak and did have to dissasemble the ice maker to get H20 from the blower fan.
