Why do my bellow keep getting a hole in it? This will be my second time replacing it.
Answer Hello Victoria. This can happen by washing rubber tennis shoes and rubber backed rugs in the unit.
On the parts list there is a bellows kit and boot. What's the difference? They look the same.
Answer Hello Paul. We will need your model number to help you with this. Please call 1-877-477-7278 or post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx
Hello, I am looking at a used Kenmore washer to purchase but the owner has said it leaks a little from the front door. Is this leak likely from the door boot seal or is it possible it's from a less expensive problem?
Answer Vanessa, it could be as simple as the owner using too much or the wrong type of detergent, and you won't need any parts at all. It could also be that the washer may be overfilling, the water level in the tub(empty) should be 3 to 4 inches deep) 1/2 inch or more water could cause the door to leak slightly. In that case you would need to check the water pressure switch and air tube for possible debris in the hose. Then check the door boot/bellows for debris and possibly being out of alignment or partially off of the flange on the front panel from improper loading/unloading of the washer.
Need a bellow kit. Can you give a price?
Answer Beth, the bellows kit used on your model is part number 134515300. Thanks!
