My dishwasher has recently stopped working. The unit begin running after closing the door and hitting the start button, It runs for around 5 mins before quitting and doesn't start back up. I have tried all wash types and get the same or very similar response. I have checked the float and its not blocked and moves up and down freely. The unit has also recently been cleaned. I'm thinking there must be an electrical issue with the board but would like to know for sure before replacing it. Any thoughts?

After losing all programming functions, I replaced this control board about a month ago. The dishwasher worked perfectly until 3 days ago, when it randomly started on its own. Since then, it has become worse. It now turns on and off rapidly any time the power is on. I again opened up the control board, removed the ribbon cable coming from the touchpad, and cleaned its contact strips with a pencil eraser and alcohol. After putting it back together, I turned the power back on. The display showed "PF" (as it should). I then opened and closed the door, which reset the unit. After it remained idle for several minutes, my confidence was growing. So I pushed the START/CANCEL and No Heat Dry buttons to run the test/service sequence. The unit stepped thru the test run just as it should. However, about 10 seconds after the test run ended, it began the same rapid start-stop it had been doing before. I'm at a loss here. Although it's acting totally different than it was before I replaced the control board, it's behaving as if the new board is somehow corrupted. Help!

A month ago, I resolved an issue regarding loss of programing ability, as well as random starts and stops and bogus displays by replacing the main controller board. The dishwasher has worked flawlessly since... until yesterday, when it started on its own. It has gotten progressively worse. Now, if the power is turned on to the unit, it will sit idle for a minute or two, then start on its own. It displays the "96" wash time, as well as the lights for the last program setting, just as it should if it were being turned on. However, it now rapidly cycles on and off several times, occasionally stopping for several minutes. When stopped, the LEDs beneath the time display will flash. I opened the unit up and checked the connections to the controller board. I removed the touch pad ribbon cable and cleaned the conductors. Yet, the rapid on/off problem persists. I programmed the "Service/Test" by simultaneously pressing the NO HEAT DRY and START/CANCEL buttons. The unit cycled through the sequence perfectly until it reached step-7, which is the DRAIN cycle. It then started the rapid on-off cycling again, at which point I just shut off the power. Does it sound as though the newly installed controller board is corrupted? Or has a mysterious short developed in the touchpad?

We have replaced the control panel. Now the unit is display CL. The repairman is wanting to order touch panel now but the panel seem to work fine. It will go into delay wash and every other setting but before starting the CL code comes on and will not start.

Installed new Control board and with the machine half apart I had a full successful test run. After putting it all back together, whenever the dishwasher reaches the wash cycle where the motors are running it will run for about 1 minute before failing out with the PF code and the lights for the 'Hi-Temp Wash' and 'No Heat Dry' blinking. No breakers are being tripped and the power to the unit appears to be just fine. I can immediately press the cancel button and start a new cycle, which will result in the PF again. I've tried reconnecting all of the connections several times as well.

My dishwasher blinks CL when I try to activate any cycle. I have already replaced the latch assembly. When I first installed the latch assembly it started to run properly, but I stopped it because it was empty. When I went to use it the next day it started flashing CL again. I have turned the circuit breaker off and no change. Do I need a board or control panel?

During a regular wash cycle about 34 minutes in machine will flash PF. If you restart it will only run like 3 minutes then flash PF again. Where should I start?
