The power starts to work and looks like it is going to run. As soon as it gets started, it goes off and flashes ER UO over and over. It will not work.
The ER UO error indicates a vent open error. While in wash cycle, Main Control Board does not receive signal from vent assembly that vent plunger is closed. Plunger status is sensed with optical sensor in vent assembly. Check wiring between vent assembly and Main Control Board. If wiring correct, replace vent assembly. If error still exist, replace Main Control Board.
Recently our power went out and when it came back on, our dishwasher is displaying the number 8 only. We've tried to turn off the power for 30 minutes in hope of resetting, but have had no luck. All buttons appear to not be functioning - is there something we can replace to make this guy work again? Thanks!
Answer Steven, Yes, you want to start by replacing the control panel assembly 807545704. It is the more likely issue, based on your description.
The number 8, and the other buttons not working indicates several keypad circuits have failed and are inputting too many circuits and causing the control board to "lock up" and not operate.
Dishwasher lower orbit spray arm broke off. We still used the dishwasher for a few days after that, but an error code appeared. I ordered an new lower orbital spray arm and installed it. The code still appears. The dishwasher will oprate on the rinse option only. It rinses and drains fine but will not heat. The error code is washing, drying, ER clean S. Is this the keypad ? thx.
Yes, the error code that you have represents a Membrane switch failure. Main Control Board has detected a stuck key or a key pressed
for more than one minute. Check connection from keypad to Main Control Board. If correct, replace keypad. If error still exist, replace Main Control Board. (Note: washing, drying, and clean s may appear in display when error code is present)
I just ordered a new control board for my dishwasher. Does it come with a diagram on how to install the new one? If not where can I find out how to remove the old and install the new.
The control board does not come with a diagram on how to install the new one. In order to replace the control board you would need to turn the power off to the unit, open the dishwasher door and remove the screws around the perimeter of the door. This will allow access to the control panel. You will remove the cover over the control board and transfer one wire at a time to the new control board and reassemble.
After the cycle, the dishwasher still runs? (no lights are on)
Answer Hello Tiffany. If the motor still runs, and the unit is off, replace the control board in the unit.
I attempted to rebot the dishwasher however half-way through the cycle it displays ER Clean S. What is the malfunction and how do I fix it?
The Er Clean S error is a faulty keypad 807545704. To replace you will need to remove the inner door, the control board, the latch assembly and the vent. Once removed there will be a couple of screws holding it to the from panel. Remove the screws and swap the console. Reinstall all parts.
