I replace the unit interface on my electrolux refrigerator and checked everything out and it all worked until I snapped the trim back in around the ice and water dispenser it turns off. I can remove the trim and turn the unit back on and it works fine as long as the trim is not put back in. I have checked all connections and none are loose. Has anyone heard of this happening ?

My Ice dispenser stopped working and won't eject the ice. The Ice Maker works fine. The Auger is not turning. When I set the display for ICE and push in the paddle I hear the micro-Swich however the Ice Chute does not energize, open and the Auger motor does not start. The micro-switches test OK. I have changed out the Auger Motor and tested the old one. The old one was fine. The Auger switch in the refrigerator wall is good as well. When I depress the Auger switch I don't get an AC voltage drive power to the Auger motor. It appears to trace to the main power board. Can you tell me if this is what the cause is? I suspect this b/c the ice chute doe not open either.

Fridge door panel for temperature selection, ice, etc. wouldn't change. Called a repairman, he said it was the main control board. Installed a new board, nothing comes on. Repairman said he would call the Frigidaire company to get help. No response from repairman as to why it won't work. I read that sometimes the user control and display board panel might need to be replaced. He ordered control board part #5303918498 from Electrolux. According to my research user control and display board part is #241973711. The fridge was manufactured in 2009 or 2010; it came with the housing when we purchased it. I have no information on when or where it was purchased. Do I need to replace the other board? Thanks

I installed a new control board (5303918523), purchased in appliancepartspros, in my Frigidaire refrigerator. After installing it began to sound a beep for a minute. Then the display control, turned red "power fall" and "Mute Sounds". The minute the beep was extinguished and only two red lights stayed lit display. This is normail or also have to change my display control.

I was having the power on/off and CE communication error issue. Paid $270 for a new control board and dispenser board from Electrolux. Replace them both myself. Now the main control board is making a clicking noise a couple of times throughout a 24hr period. Had Sears guy come out and could not find a problem. Said it was probably a relay on the board. Electrolux won't exchange it cause I did not an authorized service repair person install it. I could buy a new board online for less and replace it, I could get a warranty with Sears or leave it alone. The Sears repair man told me it will die if it is a relay. What do you think?

I had loud noise in my freezer about week ago. It came on and off. Several days ago, it stopped cooling and we have error code 5Y EF. I had a guy come out and he replaced the evaporator fan motor but fan is not working and code still there. I read that the main control board needs replaced. Is that correct?
