I need a new door latch and door strike. When I put in the model number AGQB6000GS2 it takes me to this URL: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/frigidaire-catch-door-131658800-ap2107362.html However, when I enter model number AGQB6000GS2 into your appliance compatibility tool, it says, “Sorry This part is not compatible. Find parts for model number AGQB6000GS2" When I click on the link provided, it takes me back to the URL: http://www.appliancepartspros.com/search.aspx?model=agqb6000gs2 Could you email me the link listing the correct part that I need to buy? Thank you.

I have replaced this part three times in the last 2 years I have own this dryer. Apparently the door strikes the latch about a 1/4 of an inch too low until eventually it knocks the latch into the opening. If you pull the door up when closingitt latches properly. My dryer door seems to be "off". Is the some way to shim the door so it hits the latch at the proper place?

I was directed to Door Latch and Door Strike pages from a chat conversation. I don't know if it is the Latch or the Strike preventing the door from closing. Is this a DIY install by a 73 year young female?

How does one go about replacing this part? I noticed the door didn't want to close very tightly and the dryer wouldn't start if this contact is not made. This part had somehow bent to the point that it folded through the opening. I had to dig it out with a screwdriver so I could close the door and dry my clothes. Just want to make sure I know the proper installation procedures so I do not damage the replacement part.

This is the part of the door latch that is on the machine--not the door. Is it possible for me to install this part myself? I am not very handy.

The dryer goes on for about 30 seconds and then shut off. How do I know this is the right part, and if it is how does one replace it?
