Just installed a new Oven control/clock assembly part # 318012903. Set the clock and pushed the oven button. Error Code F-3 appeared. Does anyone know what F-3 refers to and how to fix/delete it?

Got a new clock and installed it after the old one got an F1 error that would not clear. New clock is working great, but is in silent mode. My old manual says to push the stop button for 7 seconds, but that does nothing. Like a good video game player, I pushed a whole lot of buttons and eventually made it beep, so I know that it works. But a few days later it is silent again. We do get momentary power outages sometimes so I assume that's what happened. How am I supposed to de-activate the silent mode on this clock?

I followed your directions included in an answer above. The panel is much looser but it feels like something is holding it in in or about the center. Could you please guide me to the remainder of the removal phase? Thanks a lot.

I have seen video to replace the clock when the panel is on the back of the unit, how difficult is it when the clock/display is on the front of the unit of a drop in with no back? Is the front panel accessible to the do-it-yourselfer?

Our oven just quit working during making dinner - there were no sounds/codes...the panel is just blank. Upon further investigation, the burners are working fine but the oven will not operate/make sounds pushing any buttons EXCEPT the cancel. When you press and hold down the cancel button, a cleaning cycle is started (the top element does get hot). However, once you let off the button it stops. Is this an issue that deals with the clock/control panel or an element issue? The CSR @ Frigidaire suggested that the baking heating element was the cause for the control panel to black out - I'm not a tech but that just sounded off.
