Normal wash cycle starts then stops and I get a flashing ER then UO message. I've checked connections and powered off and on to reset. What do I need to fix this four year old dish washer? Thanks for your help.
The UO error is an open vent error. Here is what needs to be checked for the unit. While in wash cycle, Main Control Board does not receive signal from vent assembly that vent plunger is closed. Plunger status is sensed with optical sensor in vent assembly. Check wiring
between vent assembly and Main Control Board. If wiring correct, replace vent assembly. If error still exist, replace Main Control Board
The ER error code is a membrane switch failure. You will want to check the following for it. Main Control Board has detected a stuck key or a key pressed for more than one minute. Check connection from keypad to Main Control Board. If correct, replace keypad. If error still exist, replace Main Control Board. (Note: washing, drying, and clean s may appear in display when error code is present)
I can't get the DW to run any wash cycle. It fills with water then pumps out. The following code then flashes, "washing drying Er clean S". The water pumps out but the pump will not shut off unless power is cut off. HELP!!!!
The ER error is an indication of a membrane switch failure. The main control board has detected a stuck key or a key pressed for more than 1 minute. Check the connection from the keypad to the main control board. If correct then replace the keypad 154791806 and if the error continues then replace the main control board 154815601.
I am getting power to the dishwasher, but the control panel is not responsive and the indicator LED is not on. What parts should I try and replacing and how difficult is that to do myself?
Answer Hello Steve,
If you are getting 120Vac to the control board 154815601 and nothing coming back out of it, it is a safe bet that it has failed. The hardest thing about this job is making sure the gasket is properly placed so no moisture can get into the control board mounting area. This is not a difficult job and you should have no problem.
Dran pump runs as soon as you shut the door. It runs all the time even if we push any buttons. It started to run after the dishes were washed and we closed the door after we emptied the dishwasher
If the drain pump is continuously running you will first want to check the wiring from the control board to the drain pump. If the wiring is ok then you will want to replace the control board.
