I un stacked our washer/dryer combo the other day, because of a washer drum boot seal leaking. I set up the dryer to run on the floor and now it will only come and almost immediately go to cool down mode. I was unable to get the code from when following the dryer tech data sheet. I did check the Thermal limiter (0.3 ohms), High Limit Thermostat (0.0 ohms) and Control Thermostat (53.5 K ohms). The dryer motor runs, cleaned out lint inside ducts and cabinet. I can occasionally get it to heat up, but will stop heating after awhile. Any help would be appreciated. Jim

My Frigidaire dryer will not start. Lights come on and it makes a clicking noise when I push start but nothing happens. I have removed and tested the door switch, thermostat, and thermal fuse. I am at a loss as to what to do next? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Oh, I ran the function test and code test. The code came back E9E. Outlet and cord were also checked. Thank you. When I turn on the dryer it does not go to the heat sequence but to the cool down. Had a good service man over and he checked all of the connections and found out the one part of the circuit board head not connected. But if you hold the red & black wire together the dryer would heat up? So he said that I needed a circuit control board and that because it's a GE that the circuit board from Frigidaire AP 3844555 would work It's only $ 151 vercess GE # AP 4360484 costs $ 358.

We just replaced a faulty control board on our dryer, Frigidaire model FEQ1442ES0. Now when we try to run the dryer in Automatic mode it jumps from Dry to Cool Down right after you push the start button. It works fine in the Timed dry cycles though. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have a fridgidaire stackable dryer and when doing a load of clothes it will run for 10 minutes or so then stop during the cycle and when I go to restart the cycle it will beep three times and won't run. I had the top interior button replaced but that did not help. I have no idea what's wrong and need some help. Thanks , Chris

My dryer is not heating. I have checked continuity on the heat sensor the thermistor & the safety thermostat. They all check out. I ohmed the gas coils and they are ok. I noticed that I do not have 110 volts to the quick connector prior to gas valves and heater element. Does this sound like a control board issue or am I missing something ? The motor runs fine. Thanks for any help

Hello, My dryer codes aren't in book. Has been blinking for a while, just unplugged. Now won't run more than a minute before shutting off, under all settings auto or timed. Tried to reset like manual said, doesn't work either. Took completely apart, cleaned out all lint. Appear to have some oil on back of drum like a small grease leak or something. Found ball bearing loose, replaced it. Still acts same as above. Is it a thermostat or the circuit board? Thanks.
