I have a dryer model GLE02152ES1 it I just moved and worked fine until I moved. Now the machine runs ,but won't dry and it only runs a few minutes and cuts off. There are no error codes. Please help. ...
Answer Hello Teresa. First thing to look for is loose or bad connections. If all connections are good, check for binging in the drum and make sure the element didn't break and is binding the drum in the unit.
There seem to be a lot of these control boards that look very similar, but none of them actually match the part number on my original control board (134599900). This one (134557201) is the only one listed for the AEQB6000ES2 though. Is it maybe a revision on the original, or maybe just close enough?
Answer Hello Adam,
The control listed for this model 134557201 is the only one that will work. Most of the numbers found on the parts are not useable part numbers but are numbers put on the parts by the vendors that manufactured the parts for the appliance manufacturers. Unless you are the manufacturing vendor, the numbers cannot be used to make a cross to a good part number.
My dryer will only heat on low heat or fluff cycle.
Answer Hello Norm. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control board is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.
Display shows error message of LOC when trying to power up. Tried holding the cancel and select for 6 seconds and got another error message of RE5 and 6 beeps
The LOC represents that the control panel has been locked to prevent someone accidentally starting or stopping the dryer. You can remove the LOC by pressing the options and select at the same time for 10 seconds. The RE5 will come up when trying to retrieve the error codes and pushing the Select and Cancel buttons. Then you would rotate the cycle selector knob 2 turns counter clockwise to the third position form the top and press and hold the Select and Cancel buttons simultaneously for 6 seconds and the control will enter the field test mode the buzzer will sound 3 times and the display will alternate between FLD and the firmware revision number. you would then rotate the cycle selector knob 2 turns counter clockwise and the error code will appear in the digit display.
