We have power to the dishwasher but it do not work, flashing light on the control panel (CL).
Answer Hello Earl. You need to try to unlock the control panel. If it will not unlock, you will need to replace the control board 154663004 in the unit.
Are there instalation instructions included with part # 154663004. Is this part fairly easy to install?
The part does not come with install instructions. To install you will need to remove the screws that hold the inner liner in place. Once removed you will have access to control panel to remove control board. Make sure that the unit is disconnected from power before doing this.
I have power to the unit but I have no lights on the touchboard display. I checked the two leads at the door switch with an ohmmeter and got a reading of 1420. Does that mean good door switch? Do I need a control board and which number?
Answer Hello George. As long as you have removed the electrical connection cover to the unit and verified voltage there and checked the connections in the wire nuts, the problem is usually in the relay/control board 154663004. I would check the connections to the switch board before I ordered anything. It can sometimes be solved by removing and reinstalling an electrical connection. If this doesn't work, chances are good the control board has failed. Realize the door switch has to be closed to achieve power to the board. Make sure the unit isn't full of water when you do this so you don't take an unexpected shower! I hope this helps you solve your issue and have a great day!
I'm really stumped here. I am still having a problem with my Frigidaire Gallery dishwasher. Last week I posted a question under water valve (AP4321824) and got a response that I needed a control board. I received the control board, installed it, but it did not solve my problem - my dishwasher is still not working. Here's what's happening: When I turn on the dishwasher, the display panel comes on like normal, and starts counting down like normal, but nothing happens. I hear clicking occasionally like it's moving through the various phases of the wash cycle, but that's all that's happening. I connected a multi-meter to the two wires going to the water valve and I an not getting any power there. The float switch seems to be working, but to be sure, I jumped the wires on the switch and still get nothing. Do you have any other suggestions, or do I need to break down and call a repairman? (Note: I will be submitting a request to return the control board since this does not seem to be the answer.) Thanks.
Answer Hello Ron. It sounds like your motor, pump, and water valve are not working, Correct? If so, the problem has to be in the wiring, door switch, or control board. If the board has been replaced, you will need to check the wiring and the door switch. Hope this helps.
