Washer cycle but when it is on final spin,It does not spin.Is it motor or drain hose plug? Thank
Answer Hi Sam. Is the door lock light on at the control panel? If not then you will need to replace the latch assy. part # is . If so then you will need to access the pump by removing power and removing the lower kick plate. Remove the intake hose (sump hose) and drain hose from the pump. You will need a shop vac to suck up all water. The pump impeller shouldn't be loose spinning on the pump shaft. If so the pump is part # 137108000. Thank you.
Can your pump be bad when in agitating mode its leaking water out the bottom?
Answer Hi David. The pump part # is 137108000. This style will leak in all cycles if it is going to leak. Are you sure it is the pump? Is the unit level and the lock nut tight on the level legs? Has the drain hose Part # , sprung a small leak? We will need your exact model # to assist you further. THank you.
My washer is not draining all the water out, code EF1.
Answer Hello Roderick. The EF1 code is for a clogged drain pump. Clean out the pump and see if the unit works properly. If not, you will need to replace the drain pump assembly 137108000. Hope this helps.
Both my shock absorbers broke. While determining problem, we noticed the pump rattled like it had something in it. How do we take it off to find out what it is?
Answer Hello Andrea. This pump is held on by two screws that attach it to the base. Remove those and you will see a clamp holding the pump to the hose. Using a pair of channel locks, you should be able to remove the clamp. This should completely free the pump. I hope this info helps.
Just like Dixie's washer, the water stays in the machine ... I understand the pump is the problem. How do i check if the pump is not cloggeg ? By the back of the machine ? Thank you
Answer Hello Mart. You can remove the toe panel off the washer front to access the pump. You will need to remove the tub to pump hose, and make sure it is not clogged inside the filter. Hope this helps.
