My Frigidaire dishwasher won't drain but I can hear the pump motor try to run...loud. Do I need to replace the pump assembly and my manual says part number 154474101B. The order has a different part number and different manufacturers' part number.
Answer Hello Mark,
The manufacturers' cross to the new part number 154640201 is the most current information we have on this unit. Be aware that everytime the manufacturer changes vendors, the part numbers change. This information is correct as per the information we have available to us from the manufacturer. As far as replacing the pump goes, you should first make sure there is no debris in the pump impeller since this can cause the same symptom.
My Frigidaire Electrolux model fdbr1100rhmo is not draining do I just replace the drain pump and if so which pump number is it?
Answer Hello Chris,
You need to first check for debris in the sump area and in the pump. The drain hose and screens have to be clear, otherwise, even if the pump is operating perfectly, the unit will not drain. Also, nothing can be in the sump that will interfere with the spinning of the pump impeller. If the pump is determined to be the issue, you will need to order part number 154640201.
My dishwasher is leaking water all over the bottom of it. I checked the hoses and no problems. What could be wrong?
Answer Hello Clarence. You need to replace the lower door seal it sounds like. Check it and see if it is bad and needs to be replaced.
