I am going to replace the pump on this dishwasher. Is it best to take the DW out or replace it by removing the sump. Thank You , Tom
The easiest way to replace the pump is to pull unit out and turn on its back to access the pump. It will give you easier access.
My dishwasher wont drain, no sound from pump? Any ideas?
Answer Hello Steve,
Remove the kick panel and check the wires with a test meter. If there is no voltage, (120Vac), when the unit is supposed to drain, check for voltage at the control board on the same wires. If there is still no voltage there, replace the control 154815601.
If there is voltage at the drain pump when it should be draining, replace the drain pump A00126401.
I have standing water in the DW ,and I was wondering if on my model Dw is their a check value to keep the drain water from coming back into the DW,or should I always run the garage disposal.
Answer Hello Jerry,
You will want to make sure that your pump has not got debris in it causing slow drain. Also check your drain hoses. This is the most common problem of having water standing in the unit. Also double check to make sure that the drain pump impeller is not bad or damaged.
