My dishwasher won't drain. The drain pump is making noise like it may be trying to drain, but I'm not sure. Do you think the drain pump could be faulty? I noticed there is a "check ball" replacement on your parts page. Could this be jammed and causing the problem? Look forward to your advice. Thank you.

My Frigidaire dishwasher won't drain but I can hear the pump motor try to run...loud. Do I need to replace the pump assembly and my manual says part number 154474101B. The order has a different part number and different manufacturers' part number.

My Frigidaire dishwasher cycles but sprays very little water. The dishes on the bottom get somewhat clean but those on top rack don't get clean. Do I need a new pump?

My frid. dishwasher will not drain. The water flows into the unit and sprays both top and bottom but will not drain. I have checked all inflow and out flow hoses. The check ball is stop and will not move and that line goes to the disposal. Is the check ball suppose to move back with ease or by electric current. I have only used the unit, maybe 15 times since installed. Thanks

The quarter size rubber flapper located at the drain pump outlet connector has a tear in it. I can not locate this little part anywhere. Parts dealers say I must replace the entire pump assembly. It doesn't seem to be affecting the dishwashers' operation. What is the purpose of this flapper?

Hi, My dishwasher will not completely drain at the end of the cycle. The pump is functioning ( already replaced ) and the pump runs for about a minute after the wash is complete, so I would think this should be enough time to empty the tub. I have checked the drain line as well, all is clear. is there another switch besides the main pump float that indicates the water level to control the drain or is it controlled by a timer? Thanks,

Drain pump drains fine, but continues to run after all water is gone and gets very noisy. It will shut off after a minute or two and continue the cycle just fine. Float moves up and down fine. Does the drain pump normally run for a pre-determined time period, or should the float be turning it off when the water is gone? Trying to decide whether the drain pump or the float switch needs replacing. Thanks.
