Answer Hello GG. This pump kit should come with everything that you will need to make your repair. As far as tricks, replacing the pump is a pretty easy repair. Just pull out the dishwasher and lay it on its back. Everything is pretty easy to get to. Hope this helps, and good luck.

Answer Hello Shawn. You can test the wires on the pump, when in drain cycle, for voltage. If power is there, then you have a bad pump. Hope this helps.
