Ordered a large burner element replacement for FRIGIDAIRE Model # FEF336ECD. Part number AP4416812 was suggested. The problem is that the prongs and the connectors are different than the ones on the old element. Is it possible that this is the wrong replacement part?

I have a Kenmore electric range 790.96122409. The left front burner stays on even when turned off. It takes a long time and is unpredictable when it turns itself off. Also when initially turning the element on it goes to HI setting immediately. Can you help me troubleshoot which part most likely needs replacement? Thank you in advance.

The large left front burner has a simmer select control. It heats but the main burner does not. It appears the ceramic temperature protection control may be defective. I have replaced the infinite switch with no improvement. WILL PART # 316135401 replace the current burner assy. and does it sound like this is the problem?

I bought this new element to replace a burnt out one on my stovetop. I believe I got the model number and it looks exactly the same except for one of the connection prongs. The old one has a little black wire soldered to one of the prongs, which then connects to the sensor prongs. But the new one doesnt have that soldered wire, and furthermore, has a little metal piece connecting two prongs that were not connected on the old one. What do I do?

The right front burner stays on high no matter what setting I use on the infinite switch. I have replaced the infinite switch AP#3885460 and the problem remained. Would suggest ordering a new element?

Right Front burner stays on high no matter where I turn the switch, I already replaced PN 316436001. It did not help. The switch will turn it on and off.
