Will this broiler element fit this stove model?
Answer Hello Debra! The broil element is part number 316199900. Thanks!
What should the ohms read on the upper and lower elements of the stove?
Answer Hello Brian. Both the upper element 5303051140 and the lower should read closed for continuity and show an ohm resistance. You will need to test the elements for continuity. If closed, they are good. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html

What is involved with replacing this element, just taking off back of inside of oven? My element is broken apart on the curve, the element going into back inside panel is not effected.
Answer Hello Donna. To replace this element you should not have to remove the back of the stove. You should be able to unscrew the retainer plate from the back of the oven and slide the old element out and plug the new one in. I hope this info helps!
Yes, that is the correct model number off the tag plate and the serial number is NF72805231. I need the broil element. Thank you!

The one in the picture looks like the one you already sent me and I returned it yesterday. What am I to do? Mine has 3 twisted coils and the part that fits into the back of the oven is over 1/2 inch.
Answer Eloise, the model number given is FEF357BFWA. Is this the model number off of your model/serial number tag plate? Also, are you needing the broil element (top element) or bake element (bottom element). Please repost with your full model and serial number off the model/serial tag plate to your unit. I will be glad to further research this for you. Thanks!
