The Evaporator fan is making noise, sounds like its slipping on the motor shaft. What needs to be replaced, motor or the fan or both? Also how do you access the evaporator motor for this model of freezer?
Answer Hello Robin,
Based on the information provided, it appears that you may need to have a new evaporator fan motor 5304442620. To access the fan motor you would want to remove the cover on the back wall. There should be 8 to 9 phillips head screws holding it in place. This is on the inside of the freezer section at on the lower wall.
How hard is it to get the fan blade 5308000010, off of the motor?
Answer Hello Lynn,
The fan blade just pulls off of the stainless steel motor shaft. The hardest thing about this is not cutting yourself when it comes all the way off and bumping you hand on a sharp object in the freezer compartment.
The Fan not working, how to open the back to replace the fan.
Answer Hello Salah. Remove the shelves from the unit and unplug the unit. Then remove the screws around the outside of the back wall panel and remove the knob from the temperature control. Pull the panel forward and remove it from the unit. Now you can access and replace the evaporator fan motor 5304442620.

I have the problems with ice maker and water despenser is not working. No water comes out and ice maker didn't make any ice. Could you please help solve this problems please.
Answer Hi Ronald. The first thing to do is to change the water filter part # WF2CB they recommend changing every 6/mo's. Then if this is not the fix, you need to focus at the rear of the unit. See if you have a kink in the water line going to the unit. Pull the unit out and shut the wall supply valve off. Remove the water line at the water valve and use a bucket & see if you have full pressure from the water valve at the wall. Remove the back cover and see if the water valve elect. connectors are tight on the water valve. Use a ohm meter to measure the solenoids coils individually for opens or shorts against the mount case. Water valve part # 242252702. Thank You.
