I am replacing the heater in my dryer and would like to do some PM as well. I thought I saw a kit that contained the belt, rear bearing kit and felts but I have not been able to locate. Also, does this dryer have the glides?
Nancy for Model Number LEQ332DS0
Answer Nancy, the dryer maintenance kit used on your model LEQ332DS0 is part number 5304457724. The kit includes the rear bearing, front felt seals, belt, and idler pulley. Your unit uses the drum glide 137513300, however, it is is not included the the maintenance kit. Thanks!

I am trying to replace the dryer drum glides, and it appears that some of the clips on the back of the glides "lock-in' nicely to the drum, however the ones at the beginning and end of the glides, seem to fit very loosely in the holes. Is it supposed to be this way? I am concerned that the loose fit will allow the leading edge of the glide to snag the felt joints. Should all of the clips on the back of the glides "click" into place, or are some of the holes a in the drum slightly larger than the others? Thanks!
James for Model Number Kenmore 417.83052201
Answer Hello James,
This sounds like the glides may be malformed. I've never had this particular issue, but I would re-order the glides to make sure I was starting with good parts. If they do the same, as long as they have pressure against the inner rim of the drum, I would install them and run the dryer. If they are not "raised" from the drums' inner edge, there should be no problem.

When the dryer is on and moving it makes a thumping noise as it goes turns with all loads and settings.
Martin for Model Number medc400vw0
Answer Hello Martin. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the rollers 349241T are bad on the unit and will need to be replaced. This will cause the thumping noise from the dryer.

Does it matter how you place the drum glides? Since they have three gaps each, does the gaps have to face you or does it matter?
Jorge
Answer Hello Jorge,
The overhang of the three plastic glides go toward the main front and pointing away from the drum. If you put them facing the drum, it will grab the fabric and damage the laundry.

My glides wore out, and it almost seams that the front of the drum has dropped. It is snagging cloths between the drum and frame. How do I fix that?
Phillip for Model Number fridgiare leq2152ee1
Answer Hello Phillip. Based on the information you provided, you will need to replace the bearing kit 5303281153 and the front seal 134440200 on the unit. This is what has caused the drum to drop down in the unit.

How can I replace the drum belt?
Danny for Model Number FSE446RHS2
Answer Hello Danny. First lift the top of the machine by releasing the clips from under the top corners. To install this belt you will need to remove the front assembly of the dryer. Once removed you will need to loop the new belt around the dryer drum. Here is a link to the Repair Forums page. This is a free service we offer our customers. This link has diagrams of how the belt goes around the pulleys. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/dryer-repair/25860-dryer-belt-diagrams.html
