Hello, I have a Frigidaire GLER331AS2. I ordered top and bottom felt guides, rear bearing kit, and a new belt. I installed all of the parts and still had trouble with clothes getting stuck between the drum and felt so I ordered the plastic drum guides and replaced them as well but I STILL have the same problem (though not near as bad). To my knowledge, I have replaced everything I can replace. Any suggestions? Thanks, Troy
Answer Troy, if you're sure all the parts were installed properly, and the drum opening isn't damaged or bent, check to make sure the dryer is level in both directions or slightly higher(1/4 in. or less) in the front. this will help place the articles in the center of the drum. Make sure the dryer isn't being overloaded (try 1/2 full or less with wet clothes). Then check the front panel and air duct to make sure the parts aren't "bowed' or bent and they're properly aligned and secured to the cabinet.
Kenmore dryer will not heat, will run but makes a scrubbing noise when the drum is turned. it was working great until my daughter dried a pair of tennis shoes. any help is welcome
For the issue of the scrubbing noise you will want to check the glide and rear bearing for damage. For the issue of the unit not heating you will want to check the hi limit thermostat, heater and thermal fuse for continuity. If any of the parts do not have continuity then you will need to replace that part.
I am replacing the heater in my dryer and would like to do some PM as well. I thought I saw a kit that contained the belt, rear bearing kit and felts but I have not been able to locate. Also, does this dryer have the glides?
Answer Nancy, the dryer maintenance kit used on your model LEQ332DS0 is part number 5304457724. The kit includes the rear bearing, front felt seals, belt, and idler pulley. Your unit uses the drum glide 137513300, however, it is is not included the the maintenance kit. Thanks!
