We have the hot water hook up to the dish washer, but the water is cold when the washer is washing. We have tried to let the hot water run for a while and then turn the washer on. All the water is cold. The heating element is not getting hot either. What could be causing this problem?

I have a Frigidaire Ultra Quiet III FDB750RCC0 dishwasher, serial number TH43890029. When High temp is selected for wash and rinse cycles, the cycles do not advance at the end of the their cycle. However, if I don't select the high temp settings, the washer cycles thru perfectly. I have taken out the heating element to check for continuity and it appears to not be burned out. What do I check next? thanks.
