My refrigerator is a Kenmore. Will this ice bucket assembly fit my Kenmore?
Answer Hi Dennis, That is correct, part# 241860803 is the correct bucket for your model. Thanks!
I replaced my ice maker, everythin works great, I have another small problem. My ice tray has rust on the steel part. Is this able to be cleaned, does it need to be replaced? Are the metal parts on this tray made of stainless steel?
Answer Gary, if the ice bucket parts are rusting they will need to be replaced. Unfortunately, we do not have the specs available on the parts to verify if the metal parts are steel. For a complete ice container assembly use part number 241860803. Thanks!
Ice-maker doesn't make ice. If I replace ice container assembly would that fix problem?
Answer Hello Tony! Have you checked to see if the icemaker is filling with water? If its not, it could possibly be the icemaker 5304458371 or the inlet water valve 242252702. The icemaker should be sending voltage to the water inlet valve, if the valve is receiving the voltage and not filling then it is defective. However, if it fills than it would be the icemaker that is at fault. Also check to make sure that the water inlet tube is not clogged and that the freezer is at 0 to 3 degrees. Hope this information helps you, thanks!
When I press the ice button no ice comes out. It seem as if the twirly thing in side ice container isn't moving. Needs help
Answer Hi Jab. Remove the ice bin. Save wanted ice in a bowl and put back in freezer. Make sure the auger inside the bin twirls freely. Let us know if you have any broken parts. Tape the door switch closed. Activate the Ice - paddle while holding the door open to see if the auger motor is turning. If not then these parts are needed. Auger motor part # 5304462594, drive bar part # 241726501. Thank You.
Ice cubes will not separate when it pops out of the cube maker. Seems like the cube maker
is getting over filled and the cubes have been extra large, making it hard to get crushed ice.
Answer Hi K P. The ice maker is part # 5304458371. Behind the front white cover is a adjustment screw that adjust the size of the cube fill. It has a + and a - adjustment. If no one has adjusted this in the past recently, then it sounds as if the ice maker is either not telling the water valve (part # is 242252702) to shut off. If the water valve is stuck partially open then it will over fill and trickel in and over fill also. Thank you.
Will this work on frigidaire model # frs26wqh as a replacement part? Does this item include the ice dispenser, crusher & storage bin? Thanks.
Answer Hi Roger. What are the last 2 letters of your model # ? The ice bin parts are sold seperately or together in one assy part # is 241860803. What part do you need exactly? The Ice dispenser has many parts as well. Thank you.
