When it spins it sounds much louder than 3 years ago...no clinking or banging noise.
The most likely cause for the noise with the washer would be faulty bearings which would require the rear outer tub to be replaced.
When my front load washer spins on very high speed it makes clunking noise an bangs. What could be the cause of this?
Answer Hello Howard,
This can be one of the springs out of position or loose at the top of the outer tub and it could be one of the shock absorbers in the bottom. There could be a loose weight on the outer tub. The spin basket could be defective by losing the saline solution in the balance ring, or there could be a broken spinner support assembly, (spider). This is the kind of issue that will have to be diagnosed with the access panels off of the unit so you can tell where the noise is coming from. This will allow you to determine the origin of the noise.
Washer drum making noise. Is there a bearing I can buy?
Answer Hello Rich. The only way to replace the bearings is to order the outer tub 131525500. It comes with new bearings.
