My washer will not pump out the water or spin.I have tried a new timer but that's not the problem. The lid lock doesn't engage at the pump/spin point.Do you think it's the lid lock switch or the pump itself? I tried sticking a screw driver into the slot(top-loader) and pushing down the metal dingus at the bottom...nothing happens.

My washer stops at the cycle of pumping out water. I checked the power to the pump and it did not have 120V. However, when I manually tab the lid mental lock and it's able to pump out water. I am not sure this is the lid lock switch or the timer issue. Would you advice how to check if the timer is working or not? Thanks Joe
