My dishwasher has been running louder than normal and does not drain when the wash cycle is complete. I've removed and cleaned the the base, support and filter assembly and am still having the same issue. Do I need to replace the pump assembly (A00126401)?

Frigidaire dishwasher started leaking and ruined my kitchen floor. Shut down and saw water coming from bottom of motor housing. I read the various suggestions and ordered both the front and rear o-ring on the motor. I carefully cleaned and installed the motor housing back into place. Turned on water and it still leaks the same if not more then before. I traced the leak to the (4-5 cut vents) between the actual motor and internal impeller. I can only assume at this point the shaft seal is bad and the entire assembly needs replaced? Can you shed some light as there is no breakdown of the motor assembly itself so any troubleshooting from this end is limited. What do you suggest to check at this point? JImmy D

Does the replacement motor, AP5272381, come with the foam insulation for the motor housing and the inner and outer "O" rings.

My dishwasher started making a squeaking noise a couple a days ago and has changed into a constant whirring type noise. I took the bottom panel off and it sounds like it's coming from the circulation pump. I also noticed that it is leaking. Is this the circulation pump or am I overlooking some other possibility? Do you think the noise and the leak are same problem? Thank You Jim

Dishwasher leaked persistently during wash cycles. Removed the motor, cleaned the two O rings and deposits around housings. Reduced the leaking, but not completely. Dishwasher now leaks slowly, one drop per second, at beginning of first cycle, no leaks detected during any of the cycles, then perhaps hours after the washer completes the last cycle the leaking reoccurs. No accurate volume measurement, but enough water to saturate several sections of paper towel. After some time the leaking stops, but there is always about 1" to 2" of standing water remaining in the basin; but water level is below the filters. Paper towels are used as a litmus test. I don't see cracks in either the motor housing or the basin mount where the motor slides into, but i am curious if the basin mount is two pieces or one. It seems that the problem could be temperature related: as the components heat up during operation they expand, and perhaps close gaps that later reopen when the temperature drops back down. I suppose that could effect the orings, but i don't think it explains the standing water. the drain cycle must work even a little, otherwise there would be way more water in the basin? Can you help? Thanks, gcb

Water comes out of my lower spray arm, but not my middle or upper spray arms. I have cleaned them, they are not blocked. Dishes on upper rack are left with a residue after cleaning.

Have a Frigidaire dish washer M # GLD4355RFB0. After the washer has completed its full wash/dry cycle (LED display says clean) the motor pump continues to run and will stay running until you open the door. Anytime you close the door the motor pump will start running again. The pump also appears to have a thumping sound to it. Also noticed that when I pulled out base and filter assembly there was a water level up to / just below the filter assembly. Thank you for any help.

Hello, I have a Fridgidaire dishwasher that is only 2 years old. When the washer is on going thru its, "supposed cycle", nothing happens. At all. It fills with water, acts like its running, then drains, but nothing actually ever cycles. Arms do not spin, water does not flow from them anywhere. I have been searching, and it looks possible the main pump is bad? Any ideas? It does heat up, and fill with water. Help!

Motor is leaking on pump out, replaced o rings checked pump, still leaks, Looking at the mounting of the pump and motor it looks like the pump and motor are mounted together wrong. The motor has a support on it that should be touching the floor to keep it level, It is pointing toward the back, When the motor is mounted it sags down leaving a opening at the top. I see other pump kits that would have the same problem if mounted in the same position, Is there a problem with some of the motor kits ?
