top two arms are not turning. dishes are dirty after complete cycle....glasses are dirty on the inside on top rack.....HELP//////took parts off bottom of dishwasher down to little ball that rolls toward back of dishwasher....this seem to be ok.....what's next.....thanks jerry.......
Answer Jerry, The first and easiest check would have been the water level in the bottom of the tub. Start the dishwasher, allow the machine to fill and wash for 5 minutes, unlatch the door, or cancel the cycle. Open the door and remove the lower rack. The water level in the center of the tub as close as possible to the spray arm, should measure 3/4 to 1 inch in depth. if not you don't have enough water in the dishwasher to circulate and pressurize the pump properly. You'll need to check or replace the fill valve 154569201 to solve that issue.
Does your motor kit 154844101 come with the 2 O-rings?
Answer Hello Rick. The motor kit part number 154844101 shows to come with both o rings. Thanks!
Unit now makes a grinding sound when the water drains. I removed the drain pump and it looks fine. It spins freely. All tubes are clear of debris. Any ideas? Thanks
If the unit is making a grinding noise and the drain is clear of debris and nothing is in the sump that would cause the unit to make this noise then the issue would be caused by a faulty motor 154844101.
Does the replacement motor, AP5272381, come with the foam insulation for the motor housing and the inner and outer "O" rings.
The motor kit 154844101 does come with the O-rings and has a housing over the motor. Not aware of foam insulation over the motor.
Have a Frigidaire dish washer M # GLD4355RFB0.
After the washer has completed its full wash/dry cycle (LED display says clean) the motor pump continues to run and will stay running until you open the door. Anytime you close the door the motor pump will start running again. The pump also appears to have a thumping sound to it.
Also noticed that when I pulled out base and filter assembly there was a water level up to / just below the filter assembly.
Thank you for any help.
Answer Bill, You would have a failed relay (stuck closed) on the control board 154757002 whenever the door switch is closed, the power is supplied to the control board and out to the motor, because the relay is stuck. The "thumping" noise is most likely normal, once the water has been drained the pump starts to suck air, this will make a "sucking" or thump noise. As for water under the filter screen, this is normal, water seeks it's lowest level, and there is always some water left in the pump housing.
