Hi, I ran my dishwasher overnight, and woke up to it stopped in midcycle. It had a tub full of water, never reaching the rinse cycle. I replaced the timer and both thermostats. The door is latching properly, or it would not have started the night before. What am I missing? It never made any unusual sounds and always cleaned the dishes with no issues. Any help would be appreciated.

My dishwasher pumps out the water at the beginning of the start up, I think it runs to long but it does the job. It lets water in, but then it makes a HIGH pitch whine and does it through the whole cycle. If I open the door all I see is bubbles, I hear no splashing. After the whining stops it then drains then brings more water in. REPEAT Does this sound like an easy fix or get a newer model?

Hello, I have the Frigidaire model dishwasher GPDB998JC0. The sprayer arms weren't spraying any water and the machine wasn't filling up with water. I ordered the water valve from you guys and installed it. Now it is filling with water but still no spray from the arms. I can hear the motor running but no spray. When I stop the cycle it does pump the water out of the machine. Is my problem the motor? Thanks

Hi, My Frigidaire dishwasher fills, starts with a small squirt of water from the lower arm only, none from above and within 5 seconds runs out of pressure, but the motor sounds normal. I took it apart and ran it with the door open. I can put my finger on the end of the impeller and it stops spinning during wash cycle, it does spin slowly. There was only a small amount of fuzz in the basket but did not take of the pump cover inside. should I pull it or just order a new motor assy? Thanks!

Recently a spoon got caught in the lower spray arm and now the motor makes a high pitch squealing sound at start-up and the dishwasher doesn't fill with water. I checked the impeller and there is no damage to it and it turns freely. Do I need to replace the motor? Thanks.

My Frigidaire dishwasher stopped washing dishes. The control panel seems to work and water (some, but not a lot) is getting into the dishwasher during the wash cycle. However, the spray arms are not spraying during the wash cycle even though I hear the normal hum throughout the cycle. When I cancel the cycle, the water is purged out. Is it a problem with the motor?

Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful

I'm installing this now and I see that the wire connectors have changed. My question is what to do with the green wire? I assume it's the ground but I don't see where to ground it. Do I attach it to the motor housing somehow or is anywhere metal ok? thank you

Mickey
