What kind of tool do I need take my old oven element out?
To remove the bake element you would need to have a Phillips head screwdriver.
Replaced a defective oven element, does not heat. What is the part number for the control board and how much does it cost?
Answer Hello! The oven control is part number 316080021. Unfortunately, this item has been discontinued with no further replacements or cross references available and our company is unaware of any other available sources. Sorry about that!
How do I replace the relay on the control board?
Answer Hello Marion. Sorry, you must order a new board if the relay is bad on the unit.
I am replacing the bake element, got the screws out but can't seem to get the slide on connectors off. Any ideas, I don't want to break them.
Answer Jean, You'll need to be cautious, but once you've got the element away from the wall as far as possible, you could use a pair of needle nose pliers to grasp the connector and remove the wires from the terminals. The high voltage, amps, and temperature can cause the wire terminals to seize to the terminals.
