I replaced my bottom oven panel but, I can't get the screws in the back of the oven to line up and tighten. Any thoughts or can I just leave them out? Part # 316495901

I am changing the bottom panel on my range, but what kind of screws are in it? A phillips or flat head screw driver will not work. I also tried a needle nose pliers.

I am trying to replace the oven bottom panel (part no. 316505601). I was finally able to loosen the screws at the back of the panel. However, I can't remove the panel out from underneath the lip at the front of the oven. I have pulled it back and lifted it up as suggested in your answers. I would appreciate your help. Thanks.

In the process of replacing the panel. oven bottom (part no. 316505601), are the screws at the rear of the panel to be only loosened, turned a certain number of degrees or completely removed? I have loosened them a few turns, but they will only turn a few turns and then no further. I did not want to break them off. If the screws do reverse all the way and can be removed from their holes, how is the panel then removed from its position?

I successfully replaced my bottom panel after the foil melted onto it, but when I replaced the two screws, I tightened one too much and the head actually broke off. Where can I buy the screws to replace it. I'm sure it's fine with just the one screw, but I'd like to get it back to how it used to be. Thanks!

I put foil on the bottom of this oven not realizing that was the heating element. The foil melted onto it. What is the right part number to replace that bottom panel? Thanks so much!
