Do you have a schematic of the power board and the auger assembly?
Unfortunately we do not have a schematic for the power board on the dispenser as the manufacturer does not supply this information.
Ice dispenser will only dispense crushed ice no matter what the selector is set on. Can you tell me what the problem might be?
Answer Hello Homer,
The first suspect is the arm on the bottom of the crusher bin. If the smaller particles of ice are not cleared out of the bottom of the crusher bin periodically, they will freeze together and prevent the diverter actuator arm from being able to move. The second suspect is the actuator solenoid in the back of the shelf that the crusher bin sets on has either failed or is frozen. If it is frozen, it can be thawed out in about 15 minutes with a hair dryer. If this is the case, the freezer is either set at too cold a temperature or there is an air leak from either a door seal or the ice door.
Any advice on the dos & do nots when replacing the 5304421827 power board yourself ????
Answer Hello Craig. Really the only things are turn off the power, and do not wire wrong.
How do you get to the power board (5304421827) inside of the freezer door to replace it ? The side by side refrigerator is model frs26kw3aw5.
Answer Hello Craig,
To get to the power board, you would remove the drip tray. There will be 3 screws under the tray that need to be removed. Once removed you can lift the cover off. Once off the power board is located and held in by several screws.
